About us

We live in Calgary, Alberta, the land of sun and snow. Summer appears to last for about 8 weeks, 2 months shorter it seems than any other place on the planet. However we do have extended Spring and Fall seasons, although winter seems to creep into those two quite a bit of the time.
In November of 2007 we moved to Calgary from Vancouver, thought to be the land of rain, although Seattle probably is the just holder of that title. We brought our dog with us, who enjoys having a yard rather than having to go down three flights to get outside for a pee. The downside is frozen paws in the winter.
We love to travel in our motor coach, when time and weather permits. Needless to say if we want to travel more we’re gonna have to move somewhere else so we can get out more than a few months of the year.
What a delightful surprise! I am glad to know you are back in Calgary. Unfortunately, my friend and neighbor has since passed so we don’t get to Calgary much anymore. You did say you like to travel, so hopefully, you and Sue can drive down to Idaho one of these days. We hope to meet with a builder in June and start making final plans to build out log home. We have a new puppy – an airedale! We bought a bigger dog because of the wildlife on or near our property.
I hope to hear from you two from time to time. Take care and keep in touch!
Pam
