September 2011 Holiday

Here we are parked on the beach at Fidalgo Bay. We had site #1 which is next to the clubhouse which gave us quite a bit of extra room on the entry side of the motorhome. A view along the Thompson Trail which runs past the Fidalgo Bay RV park and into the town of Anacortes. The trail starts off by a small park near the humungous Shell oil refinery on the outskirts of Anacortes. This view is looking towards Anacortes, which can be seen in the distance on the left. Anacortes is where the Washington State ferry terminal is located for catching a ferry to Victoria BC on Vancouver Island.
