Brockton Point Lighthouse

The Brockton Point Lighthouse in Stanley Park. This picture was taken when we returned form our first cruise to Alaska. Taken around 6 AM in the morning as we were getting ready to dock at the Ballantine Pier, the second cruise ship terminal located on the other side of the Vancouver Convention Centre (the building with the 5...

Vancouver Sunrise

Downtown Vancouver as seen from out in English Bay. This was taken from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Radiance of the Seas. The entire pathway around Stanley Park is about 8 kilometres starting from the Vancouver Rowing Club in Coal Harbour and going around the park, ending up at English Bay beach, at the corners of Davie and Denman streets in...

Winter at the Tennis Courts

Along Lagoon Drive are several public tennis courts which overlook Lost Lagoon. In the warmer weather the benches are occupied with people and pets stopping for a rest to enjoy the view over the lagoon with the North Shore Mountains as a backdrop. This view looks mainly to the Northeast where you will find the main entrance to Stanley Park and the Coal Harbour Marina area. The clouds are hanging around the mountains in this picture, but on a clear day you can see them easily from here. Taken...
