We’ve been to Alaska 3 times on cruise ships and each time we went to the Hubbard Glacier. It was the same itinerary every time, just the order of stops changed – Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway and the Hubbard Glacier, in random order.
This was taken on our first trip in 2005. The ship was unable to get real close so I used a telephoto lens to get this shot. There were no big chunks falling off, just small pieces when we were there this particular time.
