We live in Vancouver, BC, Canada – thought by many to be one of the best places in the world to live. Lucky us!
By the way, this is a picture of us taken on a tour boat at the Lands End Arch in Cabo San Lucas when we took our Panama Canal cruise in 2007.
Living in an area of Vancouver known as the “West End”, we are two blocks away from the entrance to Stanley Park, three blocks to Lost Lagoon and six blocks to the main beach on English Bay.
In 2007 we moved from Vancouver (again in the west end) to Calgary, Alberta where we lived in a large 2200 square foot, 3 bedroom house in a subdivision known as Lake Chapparal, and yes there was lake about 4 blocks away. However after three brutal winters and a longing for year round green, not minding a bit of rain, we gave up the Alberta snow and moved back to Vancouver.
We now live in a very small 1 bedroom apartment which suits us just fine. No more big house to clean, no grass to cut and best of all, no snow to shovel up to 8 months of the year.

Oh yes, we live with our Shih Tzu, Zoe, who brings a smile to our faces each and every day.
