Saturday Morning in February
Early morning in February while walking Zoe for one of her longer walks. We went down to the Lagoon Tennis Courts then cut across to English Bay, passing the Stanley Park Pitch ‘n Putt and over to the playground near Second Beach. This where we turned and took the steps down to the seawall where Zoe likes to climb up on the wall and walk along the ledge. I’ll have to take a picture of her doing that next time. One of the things we promised ourselves when we came back to Vancouver was to go on a Carol Ship Cruise. These are dinner cruises on various size boats that leave from Coal Harbour and I believe there is a boat or two that sails out of False Creek. I had to travel to Calgary last week to participate in my mothers move into her new nursing home/care facility. Luckily I had changed over to winter tires about a week before I got the call that a room had been found for her. Anyone who knows me is familiar with my passion for tech gadgets. Recently I replaced my iPhone 3GS with a new iPhone 4 S. Why? Why not? One of the new features of this is the camera changes in the new S model. It now has 1080 HD video plus an 8 megapixel still camera.
