Here are some pictures of our 2004 Monaco Diplomat motorhome.
We traded in our 2007 Georgetown for this 2004 Monaco Diplomat. Why go backwards? Well the difference in quality was an easy choice and the big bonus was that there were fewer miles on the 2004 Monaco than what we put on the 2007 Georgetown which we bought brand new. The other reasons we changed motorhomes was the physical size, power and the way the motorhome was set up.
Our Georgetown had three slideouts, 1 in the front and 2 in the back for the bedroom which made for a narrow space in the front where we dined and watched TV. The Monaco has 2 slides in the front which gives us a very big living/dining/cooking area. Even though we only have 1 slide in the bedroom area it is comfortable enough as it is.
The Monaco is also diesel powered and 4 feet longer than the old Georgetown. That 4 feet makes for a lot more space, especially with the 2 front slides which really give us a lot of room inside. So much so that when we sold our house in Calgary and moved back to Vancouver, we lived in the motorhome for 3 months while we renovated our apartment in Vancouver before moving in.
A quick explanation about this Gallery. When you hover over a small picture you will see two icons. One is a magnifying glass and if you click on it a large picture will appear. If you click on the other icon (a square with an arrow) you will go to a post with the picture and a text explanation in case you want to learn something more about the photograph.
